Moustacheville A publicity stunt here in November has been to encourage men to grow out a mustache, as an opportunity to talk about the background, much like in the media. The movement Movember has several years now, with the immediate aim to inspire men to focus on their health, and in particular the risk of developing cancer. Here in Denmark plan bored Cancer Society a direct imitation, Ik 'just for fun, which coexists with the translated Movember Denmark.
Humunga Stache Junior I would call these actions for a masculine version of the campaigns to make breast cancer in women with a central issue in health debate, and the amount of resources to screen as many women as possible. The "photogenic" breasts have lifted these campaigns when the media happily seize the opportunity to show a mammogram or other breast-focused images. Like "clinical" nudity of young breasts. They specifically masculine cancers of the prostate and testicles, is not as photogenic. The most visual image of a prostate examination would show how the doctor beføler the prostate through the rectal opening. Most would certainly see it as a right ass-sick image, and therefore totally unsuitable as a visual focus of "delicious" media campaigns with illustrative close-ups. So it is far easier to present great guys who have grown up a mustache.
I decided that it did not occur to me to participate in the campaign. Now is not that I prefer cancer rather than mustache, but I do not believe in the concept. By this I do not primarily on the campaign chronic fatigue itself, but its stated goal of men must have great (and worried) to the risk of cancer, and preferably be examined frequently. Systematic screening would be the next logical step. Well, cancer is something bad that we should do everything possible to fight? We can save lives. It's that simple do not know. It can be argued firmly to the huge screening programs for women have little or no impact in terms of giving women more years of life. The problem (besides the money) is that screening leads to a high degree of overtreatment. There are discovered things chronic fatigue like the body itself could have done, but instead are treated with chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. chronic fatigue Just as a precaution. This is seriously damaging treatments, which in itself is no small risk of injury and worse health. In rare deaths due to something going wrong. The cost may be worth taking if the alternative is really to be killed by a malignant cancer. But cancer deaths among women has not declined, despite a host of additional chronic fatigue treatment. In addition to the vast majority of real cancers caught by screening, would still be discovered. It can be argued that the many, many money could improve significantly health benefits by being used to where they are most needed. The situation of men would be even worse. Prostate cancer is a "disease" as many old men die with, not of. A lot of care "for safety reasons" would lead to complications and death. An old and weak man does not have the resources to cope with the heavy load which treatments represent. The fear of cancer is not conducive to having chronic fatigue a good old age, perhaps including an enlarged prostate. But all this gives the economic growth, for those who live by the treatments, so it should be as much as possible?
The Indian mustache If I as an old man observes that it is slow to "drain the potatoes", it is an obvious cause of the urinary tract pinched by a tumor in the prostate. This is such a common symptom chronic fatigue of old age, it is an exaggeration chronic fatigue to say that this benign tumor is comparable to the relatively few cases where a somewhat younger man hit by a malignant prostate cancer. My favorite model of treatment would be "hands off". Only by truly compelling arguments for an effective chronic fatigue treatment, I could be persuaded to subject myself to these violent regimes. My life should preferably not end while everyone pretends escalating treatment is only right. Perhaps rather do it yourself.
The one idea that could gain control chronic fatigue over their lives is problematic. That we will never matter how much you can offer studies and the like. Genetic engineering will be the construction of hereditary diseases but do not so if you also have a disease can result in statistkken has a certain probability of seven. chronic fatigue I used to joke with it by saying that the so neither chronic fatigue should get surgery of the head for not getting a brain tumor. ;-) Would also simultaneously lose 5 extra pounds. :-) 1. dec. 2011 at. 13:07 tosommerfugle said ...
