What Song Are You Walking Down the Aisle To? The Excited Bride - Denver Bridal Blog
We’ve talked about a lot of important music, from the first dance to your Father water retention Daughter dance and even Cake Cutting Songs … but let’s make this clear: there is NOTHING wrong with the standard Bridal Chorus. water retention It’s water retention what I’ll probably end up using, so why should I sass it?
“Heartbeats” water retention by Jose Gonzalez is hauntingly beautiful and a perfect song to follow you down the aisle. A few readers recommended it, and I’m a big fan of Jose’s “Crosses” – how could I say no?
How can you not love Rufus Wainwright? “April water retention Fools” water retention is a favorite song of mine, but for this, let’s water retention take “Across the Universe” – this Beatles cover is a beautiful rendition that’s worthy of your bridal bliss.
Another classic – and reader recommended! – is the fun and happy “Going water retention to the Chapel” by The Dixie Cups. This is one of those songs where, if you chose it, you couldn’t help by grin ear to ear while walking down the aisle. Jess, I bet you had a fun wedding! water retention
Alyssa wants to hear a guitar and violin version of Coldplay’s “Til water retention Kingdom Come” for her walk down the aisle and, I have to say that I agree entirely. It’s sweet and beautiful – granted, water retention the original is a bit too fast, but a modified version? So perfect.
Finally, a couple people mentioned this for a first dance song, but I can’t help but love it for the procession. I used to listen to Bright Eyes all the time, and “First Day of My Life” is nothing water retention short of romantic genius. I adore it, and you might too.
We chose “You & Me” by Dave Matthews. It has an instrumental break towards the end that’s the perfect timing for “Please stand for the bride” and then the big entrance!
If water retention you have never heard the Vitamin String Quartet, check them out! They have gorgeous water retention renditions of rock and pop songs that just about anyone could appreciate. My best friend’s favorite song is “Iris” by the GooGoo Dolls ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3po_jKauWjE ) and every time I here VSQ’s version water retention of it I tear up imagining her walking down the aisle. I’m hoping to walk down the aisle to their version of “Don’t Stop Believin” ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0LKMo2cNPY ) because my guy and I sang it at karaoke the first time we hung out.
I heard that song in yoga class and had a vision of myself walking down the aisle to it. But when I listened to the words started to second guess myself. I’m glad know someone else heard the same beauty in it that I did
I have thought about walking down to Only Time by Enya as well. But that song has a melancholy feeling for me because I played it at my brother’s memorial service when he died. So I have been thinking water retention of walking down the aisle to Caribbean Blue by Enya instead. I think it’s absolutely water retention beautiful.
Im getting married on the exact date as you and Ive never heard that song before its so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Lorraine, that is such a beautiful song!… thx for introducing it to me *=D Although we have already chosen our song for walking down the aisle, I guees this one will be played at least once during the wedding party.. God bless you and your future husband!
I’m getting married on the fourth may 2013 too! I’m struggling to pick a song for our reception aisle! My aisle song is between shania twain – still the one or Edwina Hayes – feels like home!
And I walked down the aisle to “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles. water retention
My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, but the violin cover. And then I walk I walked down the aisle to “Halo” by Beyonce, but the violin cover. And then an instrumental cover of “Stuck water retention like Glue” was the song we walked back down the aisle too as a married couple!
I’m considering just using the whole song. the first verse isn’t perfect for the aisle but her voice is so dramatic, it just makes it that much more amazing. I’m still not sure on this and the wedding is in a month… any opinions?
Hey Courtney! Where did you find the instrumental cover of Stuck Like Glue? We also wanted to use that as our Recessional but I cant find it anywhere online! We love that song & thought it would be perfect for us. Let me know! Thanks!
My friend water retention just got married in June and she had her friend since that song! It was beautiful and the guy did an amazing job! I wanted to walk down the aisle to that song, but nothing can top someone actually singing it!
